Various fixed platforms are built, deployed, mantained and managed by PLOCAN in order to obtain oceanographic and weather continuous time series from a single area in the ocean. Those fixed Observation Platforms are deployed in the 4 archipielagos (Canary Islands, Madeira, Açores and Cape Verde) which form the Macaronesian Area.
